As a buyer broker, we will work with a client that has identified a specific product, line of products or services, they are interested in importing. We will then identify potential suppliers that will be able to deliver the quantity and quality required by the client in the timeframe required. As with seller brokering we will handle as much, or as little, of the transaction as the client wishes.
Typically, the process will go something like this:
In a some cases, we may actually purchase, import and resell the product to the client. The client is the buyer of the products or services, and pays our fees. In the transaction, we will be representing their interests.
(NOTE: Where we are offering both Buyer and Seller brokering services, it is important that we work in an ethical manner. To insure that our clients are getting the best deal possible, when we enter into a contract for any service we will make a full disclosure of all clients we have on the other side. For example, If we contract with Company A to a buyer broker, we will provide to Company A a list of all companies with which we have contracts for seller brokage services. If we enter into a contract to provide seller brokerage services, we will provide that client with a list of all companies with whom we have a buyer relationship. We will also provide either list to any client requesting it.)
