Harmony Imports is an international trade services firm located in the United States. We build and help maintain business relationships between companies in a variety of countries. Please check out our client list for the current list of companies and countries with which we are working. We are registered with the US Department of Commerce to apply for export licenses. We are also registered with the US Department of Agriculture to apply for import licenses of agricultural products. At this time we are not US Customs House Brokers.

Mark Kleinschmidt, Owner, brings skills to the company that are core to the services provided. He has a Masters Degree in Business from the University of Maine. He has served as a Small Enterprise Development Consultant with the United States Peace Corps in Lithuania where he consulted with the regional government and private businesses on transitioning from the socialist system for businesses to a capitalist system. While most work was performed in regards to the local and national economy, some work invloved identifying international partners for companies. After finishing his Peace Corps service he and his family returned to the United States where he conducted feasibility analyses on importation of various products to the United States, and did some limited test marketing on these products. (These are the roots of Harmony Imports.) Mark has also assisted an agricultural firm in Lithuania identify sources of funding in the U.S. Mark is fluent in English, his native language, almost fluent in Lithuanian, and knows some Russian. Mark is also trained as a database programmer in Visual Basic and is getting trained in Visual Studio .NET.

Richard Rimkus, our representative in Lithuania, is studying Export Engineering at the Kaunas Technological University. He will bring valuable knowledge regarding the technical requirements for importing and exporting products. He is involved in all Harmony Imports' business in Lithuania and the European Union.

We believe that trade between countries is the surest route to peace between all countries. Ideally, we are interested in developing trade in both directions so that the net effect of our work is to the benefit of both parties and countries. Thus our motto,
